Main Job Responsibilities - Event Coordinator
Picnic Coordinators are required to be mostly available from Saturday morning through Sunday evening each weekend. Clean driving record is a must as well as at least a 2 row / but preferably 3 row SUV or Sedan/Hatcback with seats that lie down. You will be using your own vehicle for equipment transportation.
Equipment Pick up and Drop Off location is in Anaheim. Our clients are located all across Orange County and LA County, and sometimes Inland Empire. The closer you’re located to Anaheim, the more convenient it is for you to commute. This is a part- time job and requires lifting and carrying lightly packed boxes full of decor, baskets, pillows, backdrops, and umbrellas to and from driveway into clients backyards or to and from parking and public spaces (eg. beaches, parks etc.). We operate in cold and hot weather year round. Some setups won’t require assembling backdrop or umbrellas but some will do depending on time of the year and weather conditions. Each picnic event is paid at an hourly rate (we may switch to flat rate later). Picnic Coordinator is a one person job and it takes about 1 hour or less to setup / breakdown plus commute to and from our location and clients location. It is an approximate 5 to 7 hours commitment per event. The more efficient you are, the faster you finish setting up. You are free with your time in between setups/breakdowns.
A picnic coordinator must be punctual, on time, responsible, extremely diligent with sanitation during breakdowns and follow the rules of neatly folding and storing away all equipment so the next coordinator setting up knows where everything is located. We are looking for team players. This is a fun and easy part-time job and is meant to bring in additional supplemental income to the right individual.
All of our picnics are socially distanced, we don’t have much contact with clients throughout the entire experience. Masks are required to be worn at all times. Please apply below, we would love to have you on our team.
